What initially attracted you to Malcolm Allan Housebuilders, and how did that align with your expectations as someone with experience in the construction industry?
"I have been aware for many years of the high level of quality in both workmanship, attention to detail, and customer service that Malcolm Allan delivers. This was key for my wife and I. Our expectations were high, but we’re pleased to say that the experience exceeded them. From start to finish, every detail was attended to, and we just love living in our new home."
How would you describe the quality and craftsmanship of your home, especially compared to other developments you may be familiar with?
"Malcolm Allan ranks among the very best when it comes to craftsmanship. We viewed several other developers in the area but ultimately chose Malcolm Allan because of their reputation for quality. The smaller scale of the development with only 30 homes and its wonderful countryside setting also played a big part in our decision."
Your house is one of our most spacious homes at The Woodlands. How have you found your new home, and does it offer the right blend of space and comfort?
"It’s perfect! Our home provides everything we could ask for. Unlike some developers who may have tried to squeeze in an extra bedroom, Malcolm Allan chose to maintain generous bedroom sizes, and we’re so glad they did. Each room is well-proportioned, with plenty of storage and comfort, making it the ideal living space for us."
How seamless was the personalisation process, such as picking carpets and finishes? Was it easy to create a home that feels uniquely yours?
"We were thoroughly impressed with the personalisation process. I would applaud Malcolm Allan as they made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Their suppliers, especially Laings Kitchens, went above and beyond to ensure our kitchen design met all our needs. Since we spend a lot of time in the open-plan kitchen and living area, this was especially important to us."
Now that you’ve settled into your home, how do you feel about the overall development and the community here?
"It’s been fantastic. Although the development is still being completed, we’re confident it will be finished to the high standards we’ve seen so far. The community is also great—there’s a nice mix of young families and couples like us, which creates a welcoming, friendly atmosphere."
