Move into your dream home with Part-Exchange
We are excited to now offer Part-Exchange at selected Malcolm Allan developments across Aberdeen City and Shire.
We know that, for some people, selling your home can be a stressful process. You may have found your dream Malcolm Allan home and are ready to move as soon as possible but still have your own home to sell. This is where Part-Exchange could be a great option to consider. Below we tell you more about Part-Exchange with Malcolm Allan and our eligible Part-Exchange homes.
So what is Part-Exchange and how does it work?
Part-Exchange is when you trade in your existing home when buying a new build property.
In this case, we will use your existing home as part-payment for your new Malcolm Allan home.
Is Part-Exchange right for me?
Part-Exchange can appeal to many people. Below we have listed 3 of the most common benefits of part-exchange.
A guaranteed sale
One of the biggest pros of part-exchanging your property is that, once the part-exchange is arranged and agreed between you and Malcolm Allan Housebuilders, you have the certainty of a guaranteed sale. This removes the stress of having to wait until your property sells and allows you to look forward to moving into your dream Malcolm Allan home.
A quick sale
Once you’ve agreed to part-exchange your property, the process is usually much quicker than selling your house the traditional way. The sale can be organised quickly and you may even be able to complete the transaction in a matter of weeks depending on the build stage of the home you are looking to buy. You can speak to our Sales Advisers to get all the details on planned dates of entry.
No estate agent fees
Another bonus of part-exchange is you won’t have estate agent fees and commission to pay. This could result in saving you hundreds or even thousands of pounds.
What homes are currently available for Part-Exchange?
Part-Exchange is available on a selection of our available homes. Speak to our Sales Advisers to find out more.
Are you ready to speak to our team about Part-Exchange?
Step 1 – Get in touch with our Sales Advisers
If you think part-exchange might be right for you, please get in touch with our Sales Advisers who are here to help. For Lochter and the Woodlands this is Pamela who can be reached by emailing pwilson@mahousebuilders.com or calling 07919 330367. They will ask for some details about you, your current home, and most importantly what Malcolm Allan home you are interested in.
Step 2 – We will help with an independent valuation for your home
Next up, we will arrange for an independent property specialist to meet with you to learn more about your home.
We can also put you in contact with an independent financial adviser if you would like advice and information on mortgage options available and how much you could borrow.
Step 3 – We make you an offer for your home
We will make you a fair offer for your home. There is no pressure to accept our offer, but if you would like to proceed, then we can move forward with a reservation.
Step 4 – Reserving your home
Unlike most other homebuilders, there is no fee to reserve your home with Malcolm Allan. Our Sales Adviser will talk you through this process and what legal steps come next in the reservation process. This will involve you contacting your solicitor and we also advise ours of the reservation and remove your home from our website.
Step 5 – The final stage before moving in!
Your Sales Adviser will advise you on the planned date of entry. This stage is where you also get to be involved in some of the most exciting parts of buying a new home. This includes selecting your new kitchen, the style for your bathroom and en-suite and adding all those personal touches that make your home unique to you.
Another great thing when you choose part-exchange with Malcolm Allan is we don’t start the process of selling your current home before you have moved into your new Malcolm Allan home. This means you can relax and focus on your move without having to worry about any viewings or interruptions.
Please speak to our Sales Advisers for more information and details on how to proceed.
